    Seems like our great-great-grandparents (the Casey's and the Finnegan's) came to the US to escape the potato famine in Ireland in the 1840s. I wonder how long they were in the US before Daniel and Catherine were born? Its amazing to think that they (Daniel and Catherine) were alive during the Civil War!!!

    Its also a nice tidbit to know that I'm a 4th generation American!
