    I had wondered if that was a rectory of a church there in the background. I'll bet you're right. Grandpop would have been about 50

    Just 8-9 months after the war was over. My mind boggles sometimes thinking of some of these old pictures in the context of the times.

    It could be my parent's wedding April 1946. They had to marry in the rectory cause Dad wasn't Catholic. Then they had the reception at Grandmom & Pop's house. That photo looks familiar. I'll scan a photo of Mae and Walt on their wedding day.

    They're really dressed up there and Grandpop even has a flower in his lapel. I wonder if this is from someone's wedding?
