We went to Kauai, Peter's favorite island. Poipu means hole in the sky and is supposed to be the sunniest spot in Kauai, It is in the south. Peter and I fell in love with Hanalei in the north. Princeville just before Hanalei has the best views in the world. We went till the road ended then climbed up a path where an ancient hula school once existed. The graduates would dive into the ocean there and swim around to the beach. My favorite island is The Big Island. I was so ready to pack up and move there. It was like California in many ways, the coastline, the mountains. It is heavenly. Except for the notorious VOG, volcanic ash fog. Which we didn't experience but have heard stories. Aloha!
I went there on vacation. It was really fun - i'd never been there before. The views were so amazing - where did you go for you birthday?? which island??
Coleen, did you go there on vacation or business? Joyce and Peter love Hawaii. They have been there a few times. Joyce said that she would love to retire there. Joyce, Peter, Buddy and I went for my 50th birthday. It was great. I loved it.
