    She must have given birth to Grandmom's mother when she was around 41. Her daughter Agnes Anna Daegler was born May 1871. Grandmom was around 20 when she died. So Grandmom must have grown up around her.

    The Waples genealogy says her maiden name was Agnes Wergel, born in Germany. 1829 to 1917. Married to Christian Deagler also born in Germany. I wonder if they came over together? She lived to be 88.

    That makes sense, since she was the one who came from Germany. And this photo came from a Philadelphia photo studio. I wonder which of her children she is holding?

    It was in one of Mom and Dad's albums. The back says
    "grandma Deagler, then very lightly it says "Grandmother Mae Caseys Grandmother.
