I wanted to wish everyone a happy and healthy 2010! At midnight I thought about all the memories I have when I was a kid: Grandmom and Grandpop's house, The bags in the basement, Aunt Dot handing out the candy canes from the Christmas tree (and hopes of getting that dime that was hidden in one of the ribbons). Yes, I have these wonderful memories too. What a great family to come from. I saw it so clearly last summer at your pool party for the family and each child was surrounded by loving relatives. Most everyone in the family has this great love for children (and some of us for dogs). That quality seems to have been the prevailing emotional tone that has come through most of us grandchildren who received that love at Grand mom and Grand pops house. I guess our parents must have had something to do with it too.
