cole slaw

My mother got the ingred. but no excatly how she made it i remember sitting in the kitchen with them i know it was a cooked dressing it was in a pot she brought to a boil then poured it on top of the shredded cabbage i can still hear grandmom say " pour the it on and it cooks the cabbage" the ingred are water, cornstarch sugar, vinager, dry mustard, egg, and a little salt and pepper..it's in my mother's handwritting so i've always kept it hahahhha i'm sooooooooo sentamental or just mental
