  • I think I remember Ed Wolf during one party down the shore climbing a fence to the next door neighbors and swimming in their pool!! (I think it was him anyway). It wasn't at the Dolphin though, it was somewhere else. It may have been Artie too as I think I mix up Ed Wolf and Artie sometimes in my old memories (but don't tell Kathleen!)
  • Its funny the things you remember sometimes. I might not have ever seen anyone play the trumpet in person before that day... maybe thats why it left an impression on me. Or maybe that was just an all-time classic hat party that year.

Oh... and check out Uncle Ed's swim trunks! LOL!!! My Dad's look like wallpaper!! Too funny!
  • Your'e right. It was a neighbor of mine, Ed Wolfe. He and his wife came down for the day and Eddie was the musical director for Ferko String Band back then. He was a great time and a good friend of Dads. He did play the trumpet and tried to teach my brother Stephen when he was about 7 but gave up cause Steve hated it. You have a good memory, Brian. Can't believe you remember him. Eddie died 8 months after my Dad. They were both sick at the same time. I miss those old days.
  • Who's the guy on the right? For some reason, I remember him playing the trumpet.
