OK, some folks want to get a list of birthdays going, so I figure we can start posting them here and I'll see if I can get a page somewhere on the site to list them easily. So Who's gonna be first ....

If any one is interested, I'll add my family's dates, too.
My father, Frank Waples, was born December 9, 1906; my mother, Dot Egner Waples, was born May 2, 1909; I was born November 22, 1940 (my husband, Dan, was also born November 22 but in 1943 - also the day President Kennedy was shot); my son James Franklin Albert (Jim) was born August 20, 1972 and my son Steven Richard Albert was born March 22, 1975. Jim's son, Jared Benjamin Albert, was born August 31, 2001.
Wow Brian, that must have been scarey. I had twins and they weighed 6lbs 6oz, and 7lb 2oz., Thats big for twins. They came exactly on their due date. I can't imagine a 4 lb baby. That would be hard. She sounds healthy and happy now. You must have taken good care of her........................
Brian - 12/10/67 Frankford Hospital (I think) and I'm pretty sure it was early morning, but not sure the exact time.
Heidi - 6/17/71 (North Penn or Grand View hospital, we're not sure... Heidi was adopted)
Jessica - 9/22/02, 11:27AM Grand View hospital, Sellersville, Pa.
Please indulge me while I get sentimental on everyone...
Jessica was nearly 2 months early and arrived on a Sunday morning. We were supposed to have friends over our house that day to watch the Eagles game and I was upstairs in the unfinished nursery painting the trim when Heidi called out to me about 9:30. She was experiencing some bleeding and after a fairly frantic call to the OB, we were off to the hospital. From the first moment we thought there was a problem to the time Jessica was born was less than 2 hours including a 30 minute drive to the hospital. Jessica was born via emergency c-section, so Heidi had to be put under general anesthesia and I wasn't allowed to be there. I felt like I was in a time warp as I had to pace the hallway outside the O.R... felt like the 1950's. Jessica was just 4lb 8oz and needed to be transferred to CHoP immediately. Heidi was barely out of recovery and all they could do was wheel her bed by the nursery so Heidi could get a quick glimpse of our daughter. She didn't get her first real look at Jessica until the following Wednesday. By the way, the Eagles beat Dallas that day 44-13 (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=220922021)! WOO-HOO!
Jessica spent a month at CHoP, lost some weight and was down to 4 lbs, needed a blood transfusion and was on a respirator until she was able to breathe on her own. She came home on October 18th at just a tad under 5 pounds. That seems like ancient history when I look at the rambunctious 5 year old I have today, but the day she was born is a day I will remember vividly for the rest of my life.
